    Structural Analysis

    Members of ESTEN Group have specialized experience in Structural Analysis and Mechanical Engineering in accordance with European Machinery Directive, Eurocodes, Norsok standards and classification society regulations.

    ESTEN Group provides structural analysis of marine, offshore and industrial structures using linear and non-linear finite element method. We offer the following:

    Structural analysis under operational and service loads including

    • Modal and vibrational analysis,
    • Fatigue analysis,
    • Buckling analysis,
    • Thermal and heat transfer analysis,
    • Positive/negative (vacuum) pressure loading of tanks, silos, cyclones;

    Structural analysis under accidental and extreme loads including

    • Impact, collision and grounding,
    • Blast & explosion,
    • Seismic excitation;

    Multi-material analysis.

  •

    Engineering, procurement and construction

    • Complex steel structures
    • GRP panels and structures
    • Lifting equipment and accessories
    • Mechanical & handling equipment
    • Offshore containers
    • Skidding systems
    • Grillages, racks and seafastening

  • Full ship design from conceptual to detail level including design of ship systems and hydrostatic and -dynamic analysis. We focus on the designs of smaller passenger ferries and crafts.
